Maria Kuehlthau – broker
Real Estate has been a passion of mine for most of my life. Raised in a family that built high end custom homes, I organically established an eye for noticing the pros and cons of a property. Having purchased a couple of properties myself, I never felt truly represented by the real estate agent. That feeling that the broker/agent did not have my needs first, is what drove me to form the K group real estate team.
Growing up, I was always told, “treat people the way you want to be treated”. I have used that saying throughout my life and businesses. My clients are part of my family not just another dollar sign. Through professionalism, honesty and open communication, I hope to gain your trust. My business is based upon referrals and people only refer after they have had a great experience.

I have been a broker in Washington State since 2015. However, my expertise extends much deeper. Growing up in a family so involved in buying, building and selling homes, I have learned the ins and outs of real estate. If any questions or problems should arise during the purchase or sale of your home, my extensive family networking background will help to get the question answered or find a solution for the problem.
My professional drive and work ethic started young for me. At the age of 22 I opened Maristas Coffee in Federal Way. Over the past 15 years, I have established Maristas into one of the most well know, home town, independent coffee shops in the Puget Sound. I understand the value of customer service, without placing such a high importance on customer service, a business will not survive. As with real estate, the coffee business is built upon word of mouth referrals, which come from providing a consistent product, great customer service and attention to detail. That understanding and relentless drive will show in how we represent you in your real estate transaction.
Real Estate is what I do, but not who I am. First and foremost, I am a proud mom of two little girls. They are definitely what drive me and are my shining light everyday. Together, my husband and I love spending time with our family. We are an active family that loves being outside, going to the park, boating and taking family vacations.
Eric Kuehlthau – Marketing with the k group
Hello, I am Eric Kuehlthau, team lead of Marketing with the K group real estate team. My goal is to provide your home with the best possible exposure on the market for the fastest possible sale. Along with an aggressive sale price, a strong marketing campaign is vital to getting your house seen by that perfect buyer. I am constantly learning new ways to market your home and keeping up to date on what is working in real estate. Using our techniques, we are confident the K group will provide you with the best marketing available. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss how we can help.
My knowledge of real estate marketing is all self taught. However, most of my knowledge has come from proven professionals in the field and combining a piece here and a piece there to put together a program that we are sure will work for you. I also run a video marketing business, Ohana Videography. Having full access to that business too, you know we will provide you the best possible representation.
My work ethic goes much deeper, I have been a firefighter/paramedic for the last 17 years. That career has taught me the importance of working on a team and how to provide excellent customer service.
As with Maria, my work is what I do, but not who I am. I am a proud dad of my two little girls. I feel so lucky to be married to my beautiful wife for the last 8 years! We are an active family that loves to be on the boat and taking tropical family vacations. When I’m not working or being a dad, odds are you’ll find me on the golf course.
Transaction Coordinator – Shandon Britton Stuart
Once the contracts are signed. Shandon gets involved, by making sure the transaction moves along smoothly. She keeps in contact with inspections, escrow and mortgage. Together we make sure you have the best possible representation.

I have been an Independent Transaction Coordinator for Real Estate Professionals for over 3 years. Prior to those 3 years I had worked as a Real Estate Assistant for a Top Producing Keller Williams Realtor. I retired my escrow LPO license after 14 years in the field. Combined I have over 19 years of experience in the Real Estate field and it is my passion to help and serve others.
